10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to

administrations, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same

God which worketh all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit

withal. 8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge

by the same Spirit; 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the

same Spirit; 10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of

13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves

unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of

were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I? 23 And he

answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.  24 The

Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is

betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born. 25 Then Judas, which betrayed

him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said. 26 And as they were

eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take,

eat; this is my body. 27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye

all of it; 28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of

drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.

body of Christ: 13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God,

unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

1 Corinthians 12:28

28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers,

which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

         1 Corinthians 15:1

1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye

and unreproveable in his sight: 23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not

moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every

          creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

of peace; 3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days,

nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually. 4 Now consider

Luke 6:38

38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and

running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it

shall be measured to you again.

  • Bring your children with you to the House of God. Relatives and servants also have souls. It is your duty and privilege to take care of them. (Matt 19:14, Ex 20:10, Acts 10:24, John 1:41-45, Gen 18:19).

And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after

that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues

  • Your presence in the meetings of the church and abidance in full communion, that is, not to absent yourself more than three times from Communion without sufficient reason given for your absence (Heb 10:25).

Heb 10:25

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one

another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

  • Your conformity with the Fundamental Doctrines of the Church, as well as with the two ordinances, namely, Baptism by Immersion, and the Lord’s Supper. (II John 1:9, Rom 6:17, 6:4, Luke 22:19, I Cor 11:24.

      II John 1:9

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth

in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son

      Rom 6:17

But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form

of doctrine which was delivered you.

      Rom 6:4

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the

dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life

      Luke 22:19

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body

which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

      I Cor 11:24

And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for

you: this do in remembrance of me.

  • That you contribute towards the support of the cause, as taught unto us in the word of God. (Gen 14:20, 28, 22, Lev 27:30, I Chro 29:14, I Cor 16:1-2, Matt 23, Heb 7:8-17).

Gen 14:20

And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave

          him tithes of all

      Gen 28……28:22

22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God’s house: and of all that thou shalt give

me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

Gen 14:22

22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high

God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

Lev 27:30

And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the

LORD’S: it is holy unto the LORD.

I Chro 29:14

But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for

all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.

     I Cor 16:1-2

1 So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it:

and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God. 2 And when David had made an

end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of

        the LORD.

Matt 23

     Heb 7:8-17

8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that

he liveth. 9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham. 10 For he

was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him. 11 If therefore perfection were by the

Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that

another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of

Aaron? 12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law. 13

For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave

attendance at the altar. 14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses

spake nothing concerning priesthood. 15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude

of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, 16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal

commandment, but after the power of an endless life. 17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever

       after the order of Melchisedec.

  • That you keep the counsel of the Church within the Church (Matt 7:6).

Matt 7:6

6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they

trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

  • That you pray for and help every member, remembering that we are joint members in the Body of Christ. (Heb 10:24, I Cor 12:25-26, I Tim 2:1, Gal 6:2).

Heb 10:24

And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

I Cor 12:25-26

25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care

one for another. 26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one

member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

I Tim 2:1

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be

          made for all men;

Gal 6:2

2 Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
